Six (6) evenings of baseball drills, coaching, evaluations, and/or scrimmages

WHEN:  Monday evenings, beginning September 29 (see below for complete schedule)

WHERE: TBD (Spotswood High School or Rockingham Park)

WHO: 8th grade – 12th grade, private and/or home educated young men

WHAT TO EXPECT: A Blue Ridge Jays style practice environment. Fun and Fast-moving, Encouraging, Drill-intensive, positionally-focused, and above all always Christ-centered! Depending on the specific schedule and available players, we may inter-squad scrimmage along with potential scrimmages against teams from around the Commonwealth.

TRY-OUT OPTION:  Participation in the Jays Fall Clinic is mandatory for any 8th-12th grade private and/or home educated player interested in trying out for the 2026 Blue Ridge Jays roster. Consideration for Varsity and/or Junior Varsity rosters must be communicated to the coaching staff either prior-to or during the clinic schedule. Note: You do not need to be actively trying out for the 2026 Spring roster to participate in the Fall clinic.

COST: $100 is the cost of the clinic (payable prior to clinic participation). If a roster spot is desired and offered, the clinic fees will be counted toward the balance of a player’s 2026 Spring season roster fee (payable prior to Spring practice commencement). If a player only desires to participate in the clinic series and is not interested in consideration for the 2026 Spring roster, $100 is the total cost.

NEW PLAYER PROSPECTS: Please use the contact information below and communicate your try-out intentions. Your email will then be added to the Blue Ridge Jays Band app. It is through this app that schedules and important informational updates are shared throughout the Fall and (if continuing with the team) Spring.

QUESTIONS: If you have questions, please contact us at blueridgejays@gmail.com or text (540)797-8071.
